I bought my puppy a baby pool and fully expected him to bite it. He met my expectations. I bought this the same time as the pool in anticipation of the bites. I only had to cut a small piece of the flex tape to stick into the puppy bites and it help airtight on the inflatable pool, and stayed despite the water Beaux splashed around. I was also pleased to find it rather easy to cut. Maybe it was the way I held it but I didn’t have to fight to peel it off the scissor blades or have to try to clean sticky stuff off after the fact like I do with packing tape.

When you cut the tape with scissors, there will be some tape residue left on the blades. When I was through cutting the tape I just used a little "goof off" and it cleaned easily. I don't know how it is to remove, I would only use this tape on something I didn't want to try to remove it from. If you hold the tape by your fingers for a little bit long, it really will stick but you can pull it loose. I would suggest not holding it long!

Used the tape to wrap around a water pipe to stop the leak until I could get a plumber to fix it. It held for 4 days and still was going strong until the pipe was replaced. I was pleasantly surprised that it worked as well as it did.

I have a polyvinylchloride jacket that had a large chunk of material missing from the front and another gash in the sleeve. After a tailor saying there was nothing she could do to fix it and a couple other mismatched patch materials failing to adhere and making the problem much worse, I thought I'd try one more crazy thing and if that didn't work trash it. I'd used Flex Tape on an inflatable raft before and since the jacket is almost the same texture and it was already ruined I figured why not. I got matching color and, after the tape got lost in the mail and circled around the state a few times it finally arrived and IT WORKED GREAT. The color is the same, it adheres great (except around the zipper but that's on me), and actually doesn't look half bad. It preserves the jacket's waterproofness and isn't god-awful ugly, and that's exactly what I wanted. So, thank you flex tape. This is the second time you've helped me out.

Bought this to put around an over the door light fixture that leaks. But I used it first when my little dog's plastic steps fell apart. I had put it back together with every kind of tape and gradually when it fell or got knocked over, well it came apart again. Now there was a large nut that was plastic that came out when the steps were new and never stayed in. Well I did not read the instructions as to how to pull off and I cut off two square pieces not of large size to put the nuts back in , then taped with the square I cut out. I was amazed at how it stuck and sealed . The steps got knocked over again and again and the tape was still stuck and the plastic nuts remain. I hope it works that well to cover the top of the light fixture that leaks! So proud!
